Melissa put the same "Alice's Restaurant" on the sideline of one of her letters, too.  She refers to Madeline as her "Soul Sister" because they have so much in common and had such an instant connection.  Is your daughter going to Pensacola for A-School?  If she is, I think they're trying to hook up as room mates.

If you're familiar with the "Bird Isles", we live on Audubon - right by the Colony Tower.  I'm pretty familiar with Fraser, where abouts are you?

Ok...I have my oldest daughter and her significant other, Melissa's boyfriend Eric (who is also in the Navy) and me.  My sister-in-law, her husband and their two children are trying to get the time off, but so far, can't get it.  Sadly, my husband and my youngest daughter will not be able to make it at all.  Sarah (my14 year old) is making her Confirmation the same weekend our girls graduate.  She has a "Breakfast With The Elders" on Saturday morning, then the group will share their Faith Statements, practice for the ceremony that takes place Sunday morning, and then group pictures.  She has a full schedule!!!

Me and my zoo crew will leave for Great Lakes on Thursday Afternoon around 4:30 and we will be staying at the Homewood Suites until Saturday.  We hope to get some sightseeing and shopping in (Downtown Chicago) on Saturday and then we'll head for home that evening.

I read on one of the posts that after graduation, the sailor's ship out within 24 hours.  They leave at some crazy hour like 2:00am.

OH...By the way...Melissa's birthday was Oct. 5th.  Seeing how Melissa and Madeline are best buds, we'd love to have you join us celebrate her belated birthday.  I don't know what your plans are, but think about it, ok?
