JordanMom-teri -- Our son went to MEPS in Amarillo, then they flew him to dfw where he met up with DFW MEPS guys....(&gals).....I bet our sons were on the same plane to Chicago! That is neat to know! We are anxious to hear from him, should be getting the "form" letter hopefully this week??? and maybe they will be able to write home on Sunday...so maybe by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week we should be hearing from our SR's......Bootcamp is tough (on parents) but it does get easier, just try and keep busy! We went ahead and booked a room at the Ramada Inn (on Skokie??) something like that, its 4 miles from Great Lakes RTC.......we won't book our flights until we get something from him confirming the 8-24 grad date, cause plane tix are much harder to get changed than hotel rooms! Maybe we will get to meet at Graduation! Graduation is AWESOME! You will LOVE IT, and yes, you will bawl through the entire thing, but they will be happy and pridefull tears! I cannot wait!
