Hi, wanted to welcome you to the AECF group! Your son is going into a great field of work with lots of schooling on the front end. Expect him to spend a year in GL (give or take days) and then he will move to another state for his C school. ETs often will receive their ship orders when they get their C school orders so often they know they future earlier than the FCs. Our son is an FC and his father was as well, after almost two years of school - he is stationed in Hawaii and is on his first deployment now. All seems to be good!
