Hi goitia67, How is your Navy girl doing now? Hope things are better for her and for you. We haven't seen my son in over a year either and he wanted leave before he deployed but didn't get it. He will probably be deployed about 9 months from what I can tell. He seems to be doing well though. I felt sad when he said don't write to me or send me any packages because there isn't room for them on the sub. I am doing better with it now. Sure appreciated the support I got from N4Ms the first day I read in the news he had deployed several days earlier. I guess his phone call from S. Korea helped because he sounded so happy and confident. He and a group from the sub were going to visit the town where they were. He sounded excited to see another country. I will keep you and your sailor in my prayers along with those I say for all our troops. I miss my son a lot too but he is a little older than some. He didn't go into the Navy right after high school. He is mid twenties. Maybe being older helps him because he really doesn't need me. I sure love it when he calls. Do you know about the USO sending free calling cards to our troops? Maybe you could have one sent to your daughter so you can talk on the phone more often. Is she at bc? Blessings,
