From the research I have done, I am very encouraged. I was afraid at first because he is my son, and as a parent you never want your child in harm's way. I know that God's hand is on him, so now I am in the find out as much as I can about his new adventure in life. I recently watched the faces of the Navy, and this really helped to calm my fears. I am very proud of my son for making this decision, I just have to adjust to the 'see you laters' -- below he hasn't gone to BC yet; but I can already see a difference in him waiting to leave.

If he gets a contract for Aircrew (AIRC), join AIRCREW, Sailors In Pensacola, FL For A School....Corry Station too!!, and Parents of A School Sailors in Pensacola and check out Airman Family and Friends.

Your Sailor will be assigned to a class "A" school for a rating within the AIRC program while in Naval Aircrew Candidate School (NACCS). That assignment will be based on his/her test scores, personal desires, needs of the Navy, and continued eligibility for the aircrew program.
