I just saw that we have a letter coming today (thank you informed delivery!!) and I am so excited!! Of course I work at my office today so I will be anticipating when I get home this evening.

drc2873 - To my knowledge only 2 guests are currently allowed at PIR - there isn't any waiting area anywhere else. Your son will need to stay at the motel room. Recruit Training Command Home Page (navy.mil) - I am not certain Phoenixmom understood your question or not. 

As far as picking up your tickets at the Welcome Center beforehand, I think your son can go with you, he just won't be getting a ticket, but I don't know. That is assuming that you are not getting tickets day of PIR. They are very strict and only the two names listed on the Security Form will be approved for tickets. 

You need your Covid Vax card, Gov't issued ID, and wear masks, and also car insurance and registration papers, maybe for driving on to RTC and parking in the garage or vehicle rental forms. 

Also, someone had posted a week or so ago, but there is NOT a live streaming of PIR at the Visitor Center somewhere near RTC, either as had been previously posted. They called and checked.
