- I am a 68 year old mom of two adult kids. My daughter joined the Navy at age 33! Her dad and I are excited about kicking off this new career with her. Her brother was in the US Marine Corps and now works in the private sector. My husband and I continue to work full time. I am a photographer, a gardener and a knitter.

The Page, 800 and 900 Divisions, within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will be of interest to you since you have a recruit in a performing division.
900 divisions usually go through Battle Stations-21 (BST) on the Monday night before PIR. Write to your recruit and ask when BST is to know for sure.

Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty during PIR Weekend within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) to help you know how to plan your weekend.

Make at least change 3 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link).
There may be other changes you need to make as well (changes 1 and 2???), so read and consider each of the changes.
Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP Code to one that is not easily associated with you or your recruit.
