I am the parent of a sailor and a very private person, so I will leave the personal details at that. I am looking for a community to get any kind of insight on what to expect as my son begins his career in the navy. I was informed by the ombudsman for my son's sub that the only resources available to me were through the FRG group on Facebook. Since I don't do Facebook (see my previous caveat about being a private person), I am looking for alternate sources.

Make at least change 3 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link) and change the Privacy Settings for this page from "Anyone" to "Members."
