Hi "Michelle," and welcome to Indiana Moms! I'm the administrator for the group. My son is a Nuke MM serving on the submarine USS Alabama, based out of Bangor, WA. He's been in for 4-1/2 years.

If you're near Indy (or willling to drive), there's a monthly informal dinner on the west side of town, in Avon. You'll find details by clicking on any 3rd Monday of the Event calendar (right-hand column). Please join us - and bring family/friends. From time to time, we also have regional gatherings in various parts of the state.

Be aware that August 13-22 (2011), Indianapolis is hosting its first NAVY WEEK, at the State Fairgrounds, during the fair. We'd love to see you at invitation-only events and help entertain or feed the sailors who'll be working that week.
