- A little about me:
- I am a mother of 6, three beautiful girls 22, 20 and 17 from my previous marriage. A step mother to my 15 year old step-son, and 3 year old boy/girl twins! My kids are my life! I was terrified and heart broken when my middle daughter told me she wanted to join the Navy. I tried to talk her out of it (for my own selfish reasons), but the more I thought about it, the better I felt. I was very young when I started my fist family and missed out on a lot. This is such a great opportunity for her to experience things that most people never will. I am so proud of her and excited for her new endevour!

Oh my gosh I am a wreck also. My son (his name is Mark) was teasing me yesterday before he left saying mom your going to cry lol. I held it together until last night when I recieved my "im here" call. He sounded so tired and since it was a scripted call, he didn't sound like himself. NO, you aren't being selfish, you are being a mom :) I have been having ups and downs since yesterday and was told that every day gets better. He was the last to leave the house, my baby, it just seems way too quiet in the house. What is your daughters MOS? Maybe they will be graduating at the same time. So glad to meet you, glad to know I am not alone.

Just wanted to stop by and say hello and hope your day is going well. I am not sure if they will have PIR on the same day but if I am correct, his date is Feb 8. They havent posted his group yet, but I counted 9 Friday's out and that is what I got. :) I am looking forward to the "box". I girlfriend of mine had told me today that usually the family gets a picture of their loved one in either the box or the form letter. I am not sure because I haven't seen anyone talking about it, but hoping that is fact. Hope you had a great day :)
