A little about me:: I am a single mother of two military personnel, I have a daughter who has been in the Air Force (Security Forces) for the last year and now my son has just left to the Navy on the 29th of July. Now that both of my children are starting a new life I am having some issues with being alone.
I guess I am just looking for someone to talk to that might understand what I'm talking about.

Hi I have a daughter in ship 11 div 276. She also left on 6/29. I am really having a hard time as I just miss her soo much. It has got to be tough for you being alone. You just have to keep busy and keep writing those letters. I've been writing so many letters. We got 2 letters yesterday..She is so homesick and miserable because all she thinks about is being home. I keep trying to encourage her and I just hope she is not regretting her decision. I havent got the 3 week call yet so kind of bummed about that too. Anyway if you need someone to talk or vent too...feel free Lori

Thank you Cruzanna, My daughter called yesterday. It was so good to hear her voice. She misses civilian life but doesn't regret her decision. She's the mail po so gets to sort and distribute the mail. Maybe I'll see you at graduation. God bless you and your family as well Lori
