We ask that you not use your last name in your Username (even if it differs from your Sailor's) and not post photos with names visible on uniforms, for OPSEC reasons and the privacy of both you and our Sailors. Jump right in! Browse around the site and check out the groups and their Discussion Forums. You can search groups for your PIR date, your Sailor's occupational specialty and "A" school, homeport and ship, and also your home state and/or city and interests from care package ideas to getting ready for deployment.
Be sure to introduce yourself when you join a group, and feel free to ask questions - we were all new to this once :) We look forward to reading more about you and your Sailor!
