CheriH....r, I see you have changed your Username so that it no longer contains your full name; you also need to change the URL to this page. Make change 2 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile)  (clickable link) to take care of that. (If you are using a Smart phone, you will need to switch to Desktop View to make this change.)

Also make change 3 while you are there so that this page is no longer open to EVERYONE (Anyone) with access to the web.

There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.

Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP Code to one that is not easily associated with you or your future Sailor.

Cheja - I posted a reply to your discussion. A lot is different with COVID than when you were last through this from your Alumni PIR - My son's was in Aug of 2017 and he is also a Nuke.

I would connect again in the BC Mom group. Since you are already a member we don't know who is back for a 2nd or 3rd go around. It has been taking the form letter 4 -5 weeks to arrive but if you have his ship and div # you should be able to write to him anyway.

    RTC - Contacting Recruits

Here is the link for the information on the RTC boot camp website for addressing your son's letters. You might need to scroll down a bit.

Hi, yes he called one more time but the call dropped so it was a pretty short one. I'm not sure why you didn't get one that day as they usually get them as an entire division from what I understand. My SR will stay in GL after bootcamp so I'm not sure if he'll have to repeat ROM or not. This is a whole new world for our family and I'm learning as we go. And yes....holidays just didn't see 'right' without him here!
