My son is assigned to Ship 10 Div 258 and is scheduled for graduation on 07/30/10, although I am still awaiting that official "I'm A Sailor" call. I am a little late in joining the ranks of my fellow Navy moms, but I have been frequenting the site regularly while my son has been away at boot camp. This is a wonderful resource and I appreciate and thank all of you who have taken the time to keep those like myself, who really didn't have a clue as what to expect, abreast on things.

Hello sailormann's mom--welcome to the very small group. I've been trying to find other moms from the ship to join, I don't know if there are to many on this web site. There are 187 men on that ship they must have mothers. hahaha! My son is an EM on the Rentz and has been with her for almost three months. He loves being out in Cali, he also has never been this far away from home before. He's my youngest and now we are empty nesters! It's been over a year now since he left for the Navy. Still getting use to it. Anyway welcome again and if you know about other families bring them along.
