my youngest son left for BC three days ago. The baby of the family, now this big old house is empty and I have to shut the door of his room, however his sneakers are still in the mud room and will stay there till he comes home....and they are clean....

wow my child took a step ...leaving his childhood behind and heading on to the biggest adventure of his life,,,,(on his own without me) he just turned 18 last month.
watching him take the oath was the highlight of my experience with the Navy so far, I have so much respect for that officer who administerd it .
