    Hi. ga.mom75:

I read your post and it made me want to cry.  My son's PIR is next week and it has been a very emotional ride.   We are very close and it was so hard to let him go...but I too encouraged him to go because he was anxious to get his life started.  I also raised a cousin's daughter and had a foreign exchange student so bravo to you.  I put a friend request in to you.  Feel free to ask me anything you need to know.

Hi.  Not he is one of four and I raised my cousin's daughter who was killed in an accident.  We were very close though..he was my buddy.  I still cry almost everyday, but I know this is what he wanted so I try not to let im know how sad I am that he is gone.  I know it will get better when he goes to A School because he can Skype on his computer.  I told him he has to talk to me every few days.  It has been hard for him to because my daughter lives with me with my grandson and he was cery close to him as well because Daddy had pretty much been MIA since his birth.. But, I plan to visit him and Skyping will help..I do it with my youngest who is away at college.  You said l like your keeping busy..the time will fly.  Hope you get a call or letter soon ..Take Care and God Bless.
