I am the proud mother of a Hospital Corpsman!
My daughters journey began Valentines Day 2012 when she left for Great Lakes for basic training. I was blessed to be able to watch her and some other amazing young people graduate in April 2012 and then was allowed to spend one day with her before she was off to San Antonio for Corpsman training. Upon graduating from there she learned that she would be stationed in Yokosuka naval base in Japan. She got her first pick! As happy for her and as VERY proud I am of her, I miss her every day and cannot wait to see my sweet girl again.
I am here to support my

I will write as well. My daughter told me about a girl in her division who never got her name called at mailcall and always went to her rack afterward and cried. I couldn't let that happen. I am glad your daughter is sharing her letters. But I would love to write to her (my daughter - who is now in A School in San Diego - would probably write as well!).
