Hi Karla. I am new to this site and discussion groups all together but I saw ur post about you missing your son in the group leaving in Nov and not sure if I shld respond to you within that discussion or on your page. So I apologize if this is not the correct avenue, but wanted to tell you I can only imagine how you feel. My son is leaving in 8 days and although to him I am in complete support and strong; behind closed doors I am a wreck. He gave me a necklace that says "a mother holds her childs heart forever". I know there are no words that can take away your sadness. But I hope you find some comfort in knowing you are not alone. I feel your pain. But I also recognize how extremely proud you are of him. Strength is all we can ask for. Your son is a true hero. May time pass you quickly so you can see your baby again.

Since you have a Recruit at the RTC, you should change "In the NROTC program" above to "Enlisted" because NROTC refers to the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps, a college scholarship program. You aren't the first person to make that mistake and you won't be the last.

You may want to make changes 3 and 4 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile).

Yes, the 5 year old counts in the 4 people. Only those ages 2 and under do not have to be listed on the Access List to enter the Drill Hall for PIR.
