A little about me:: My name is Kara. I am 18 years old and attending McNeese State University as a Freshman. I graduated from a small school in Louisiana where there were only 23 graduating seniors and one who proudly joined the Navy. I am his girlfriend, We've been dating since Junior year in high school and he left for boot camp August 5, 2010. I'm very close with his family, especially his mother, I adore her. He is also close with my family, they love him very much. I am majoring in Nursing, I want to be an RN. I'm ready for October 1, 2010 to get here so I can see him graduate, we all are so proud.

The Navy offers opportunities that...: This has not been an easy experience but it has taught me to be strong, supportive, and very patient. I know that this will be a life-changing experience for Josh, he will grow and succeed based on what he has and will learn in boot camp.
Our Navy experience so far...: It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
