- My name is Kristine. I'm 23 years old and currently work in a medical office. My little brother, currently 22, went to bootcamp on December 5, 2012 and graduated February 2, 2013. He is currently on his first deployment on the USS Tortuga and will be stationed in Sasebo, Japan. I'm on here to meet other families who have sailor's on the ship.

Hi Kristine, Our son and your brother were in the same division together and I believe now in A school together:) I saw your brothers name on our son's facebook wall....is your brother going to be training to be a DC in Navy?
We would love to be able to support your brother as well...I see you guys are from NY- we are from Michigan. Praying for our guys

it is great that they have some other sailors that they are able to continue in contact with from their division. I know that he really bonded with several guys and misses seeing them as he is aclimating to his new routine. :) Hopefully they are able to hang out periodically, and how are you doing with the "new norm"
