It's really hard not knowing where my son is and what he's doing: if he's really okay. He has proven that he can handle hard work and adventure as well as disapointment and uncertaintity. After 4 years my heart still hurts from missing him, but he has become a man and my hero.
They are much safer at the pier then out to sea from what my son told me. I honestly was terified when he explain the deal to me.
What is your sons job on the boat? Mine is a sonar tech. If you ever hear yours talking about a Word on the boat, he's mine. :)
We won't hear anything more until Friday. My son said they all have to stay at the boat and at full alert so if they gotta sink her. I know my son will call as soon as he can so will let you know how everything is if you haven't heard from yours yet.
Sorry didn't get back with you sooner. Been out all day. My son got ahold of me this morning and everything was fine. Guess they got some free time because him and a buddy was heading to check out Virginia beach.
