I know how much you want to see your girl graduate but I don't think they are going to open up graduations to the public for quite awhile yet. My daughter has been dealing with a travel ban for her job since March. They Navy does not want to put any of their investments (sailors) in jeopardy!
My officer daughter is also in Pensacola. She teaches at the Naval Aviation Schools. Let me know how your daughter is doing!!
No you did not. Did you see my message on the main page? Where you able to get it fixed? Sometimes refreshing your computer will help to. You've always been able to see the message before. Try that and let me know if it worked.
I'm pretty sure they won't be opening up PIR to guests for a long time to come. I know this is to make sure they keep all those recruits there safe from any outside contaminations. I read sometime ago that the Navy was going to move all the RDCs and instructors to the RTC so there would be no chance of bringing the virus in. Can your daughter tell you if they are all living within the RTC environment??? Just curious. I will tell you that Pensacola is a beautiful place to visit!!!! I have been there several times. Once your daughter gets to P'cola she most likely will need a couple weeks to move up in privileges so she can go off base. That is if A schools are still conducted the same as when my youngest daughter was in. But a visit there any time of the year is still a good time!! I spent time on the beach in the middle of November!!!!! Let me know how your girl is doing!! When is her PIR????
