Hi Shirley, Well Chris left last Wednesday. Had to have him at the recruiter at 3:00 pm. He went down to Meps and they put him up in the hotel they use. He took his cell phone so he would text me and he called at different times. When he could. They got him up early and did all the stuff that they needed to before he left.I got a text saying that his flight would leave at 6:45. He text me again at 10:09 saying that he had arrived in Chicago. So I stayed up waiting for his call.Finally at 1:00 I went to bed. He called at 2:30am. I was so asleep but I do remember he said something about 3 weeks and 2 weeks. He was able to use his cell phone to make the call but the connections was not real clear. So I told him to have fun and hung up. Now I laugh. I guess the 3 weeks is when he will be able to call and the 2 weeks is when we should get a letter. Target right now has the 30.00 phone call on sale for 14.99. So I got Chris 2 to take.I can tell you I cried like a baby when I dropped him off. He had a mixture of emotions...excited, scared,and anxious.We live in Acworth. It is near Lake Allatoona. Where to you live.? I hope all goes well with you sons departure.
