A little about me:
My name is Kim and my son is getting ready to leave for the Navy this month, September. I work full time and recently have decided to go back to school and I also volunteer with the local fire department. I have two children, my son just turned 18 and I have a 13 year old daughter. I joined this group to get support. My husband is about to retire from the Marine Corps and my mother retired from the Navy a few years ago. I'm used to the military lifestyle and I love it, but it's definitely harder when it's your child leaving home.
