    Hey Jo!
I, too, am ready to hear something from him! I think! Let's just say I want good news when I hear from him. :)
I have been very productive cause I do things to stay busy!! Hope you are hanging in there, too! One more day closer to PIR!!!

Good morning! I'm feeling much better now that I can write letters. It helped trememdously to get his address and that PIR date. Now if he can just make it! Haha!! Man! Our boys sound soooo much alike! My son lived with me and my husband all through high school, but really hated it. He doesn't get along real well with my husband because he expects the kids to do chores and sometimes his expectations of the kids are (in my opinion) a little high. He could have been a drill seargent. I think he missed his calling! LOL!! Anyway, all through school Matt would go to his dad's house EVERY weekend and all of spring break, fall break, Christmas break, etc. So he could avoid the work. So... As soon as Matt graduated, he moved to his dad's house about 45 minutes from me and I would go pick him up on Thursdays take him to his weekly DEP meeting, then feed him dinner and take him back to his dad's. I rarely heard from him very much other than that. He's not one to really talk on the phone, so I'm not sure he will call (he didn't call anyone when he got there for some reason) and I highly doubt that he will write any letters, but I'm sure hoping he does! From what I've read from other moms on here, mail becomes extremely important to them in basic training and I'm just hoping that holds true for him. We shall see. I hope you are settling in and feeling better about all of this. It sure is tough.

Hi Jo, I am doing much much better today. I finally got a letter from Dalton. He sounded pretty good and said he missed the last Sun letter writing day cuz he was behind on his ironing and other chores. That sounds just like him. Anyway, he sees the light at the end of tunnel so to speak and sounded like the division was doing better. He said there are a few guys that "Just don't shut up"! He likes his bunkmate and said he really hated the peanut butter shot in the rear~bottom was sore for days. Ouch. He also said that he has seen a couple of graduations with the parents and he can only imagine us out there in a few weeks watching him. I'm so happy to finally hear from him. How is Kyle?
