My husband (Joe) and I have 4 kids and our sailor is our second oldest son. I work at a high school in Illinois as the school registrar. I enjoy walking and cycling for exercise.

Hi momofchris...I have said the very same thing so many times since my son graduated on the 14th. Every American should see the ceremony. It was truly one of the most inspiring, moving experiences of my life. Where is your son now?
Well for a kid who doesn't much like change I think he is amazing for being where he is even thus far...I can't think of many other paths that would as much of a change from the norm than joining the Navy. I have to laugh..my son (21) has stated that he can see him making a career of the Navy but really would be fine if he never had to step on a boat!! Your son will be great!!
