I am the proud mom of a very recent Navy recruit. My son left Tuesday to Great Lakes. I am a full time college student, work full time for a Hospice provider and have 3 teenagers still at home.
You will find this site very helpful and full of members who are eager to answer your questions. Browse around the site and check out the forums, groups, blogs, photos, videos, and even the other member profiles!
I see you have joined your PIR group; I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. The Page, 800 and 900 Divisions, will be of interest to you since you have a recruit in a performing division. I believe that Division 921 is Ship Staff/Honor Guard. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
