- They take care of their recruits. And the recruiters don't give the Moms enough information before they leave for Boot Camp. The support and friends that I have made from PIR and NNPTC has been amazing.

Yeah, on the way to PIR! YOur sailor should love Goose Creek. Ours met his wife there. He is a machinist mate and sub welder. His sub just drydocked for TWO years! Guess where we are going for summer vacation? It will be a great trip.

Yup. Those are the villas. :) Aaron and I stayed there Thanksgiving weekend, and we have a three bedroom booked for Power School weekend (Easter weekend) for us and his parents and brothers.
As far as flight advice goes.. Just really look around. I prefer not to book through Travelocity or Orbitz or any such company. The best flight prices I've found are directly through US Airways. Delta isn't normally too far off either (they just don't seem to have as good as a selection of flight times as US Airways does). Definitely book as early as you can! Flight prices have been ridiculous lately!
