    Hi, Wanted to welcome you to the AECF group. It looks like your grandson is just getting underway at bootcamp - hope you are hanging in there okay. First couple of weeks are tough until that first letter arrives. My son is an FC and graduated from his C school last summer and is now with the fleet in ...Hawaii. Not a bad life! Both the ET and FC rates are good rates with lots of schooling on the front end. Expect a year in GL and then he will move to another state for C school. Location and length to be determined at the end of A school. You will find our group to be an active and supportive one - stop by often with your questions and such. We look forward to hearing more about your grandson.
