I'm so glad you got your call!  Mine has had a cold too and was given a "cold pack" which apparently works wonders!  Glad he was upbeat, that is so comforting to hear for us moms.  I didn't get a letter today, our usual day.  His grandmother got one, so I am hoping for tomorrow.  Last week I didn't get a letter til Friday, so I won't give up til Saturday...LOL 

All I can say is,  4 MORE WEEKS!!!!

Wow that was really fast. I didn't ship them until yesterday afternoon and they said they wouldn't be delivered until tomorrow. I hope you like them. I see you got your call. That is awesome. Have a great time at PIR. Let me know if you need any scrapbook items :-D

wow, I know he must have been so proud of his grandson. I am so sorry that he passed before he could see him in uniform but it is awesome knowing that the ribbon brought so many fond memories and gave them a chance to share with others how proud they were/are of their Sailor. I am so glad that I was able to make the ribbons for you and your family. I hope your sailor is doing well.
