A little about me:
I'm a Navy mom who's recruit is on the home stretch to graduating. He left 7/26/11. I miss him so much. I find myself needing support, some people don't understand the mixed emotions that we Navy mom's go through. I'm hoping that this group will serve as a supportive system.

Thank you,

Thanks for the note.  My son says he won't start school til next week when they get more guys in maybe they will be in same class.  "fishmom23" came about since my last name is Fish and mom to 3 great kids.  Good luck and hug hard!

Tim says its hot but not bad.  He had to go to muster and chow a bit ago and is bored.  His roommate graduates and is leaving today too so he will be alone not sure he will know what to do.  I think the heat there feels different from where we are so who really knows.  When he left Chicago it was 47 and when he arrived in Texas it was 97 so it was a shocker for him.
