- Philip began talking about a military career during his sophmore year of high school. After talking with the military recruiters at his high school he chose the Navy. When his recruiter came to talk with us we found him to be very upfront and honest with us about life in the Navy.

We lived off of Roxboro Rd in Independence park. Been gone about a year now. We live out in the country now and I love it!!! Not far from the Tanger Outlets in Mebane. have you been there yet???

Fair winds a following seas to your Sailor. I hope he enjoys Italy. I went there when I was 14 and have never forgotten it.
My son's home port is now officially Norfolk. He graduated from C school in Dam Neck on May 4th. His ship is the USS Gonzalez.
