I am a very proud mother of my only son joining the Navy in 6/2005. I am disabled and seperated for 8 years. My son is my pride and joy. I do miss him and I always look forward to hearing from him and his visit's. I love to do all kinds of craft's. I paint, crochet, sew, needle point. You name it I do it..LOL
Rite now I am starting on a quilt for my son and his new wife of 3 months. I did finished the scrapbook of him from little up to graduation in 6/2005. The next one is him in the Navy 6/2005-7/2015 when he got married.

That it gave my son more courage and strength, confidence, encouragement in the thing's he does. My son was a very shy person and the Navy brought out the man in him that I knew was there. I am very proud of the young man he turned out to be.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
