I have found it so hard to find moms in my daughters division. I've gotten some letters from her and she was asking me if I found any moms yet from 297 or 298. She has a really good attitude about this whole thing and prepared herself very well for it. My daughter is going in as IT but plans to switch to IS after 18 months. That is what she wanted to do but for some reason it was not offered to her. Her chief said she could switch after 18 months as IT. And it wouldn't hurt her to have the IT information becoming an IS. After boot camp, Heather will go to A school down in Pensicola FL. I'm looking forward to going to graduation. It would break her heart if I did not show up for it. She has made me be by her side literally every step of the way up until she got on the plane to leave for GL. I'm very proud of her. My daughter probably knows yours. She is very easy to get along with and is quite the social butterfly. Well, at least she was, BEFORE boot camp.
I see you recently joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!!! We are a friendly caring group of moms and are always willing to listen, share and help each other whenever or wherever we can. Please feel free to join our chats, we love talking about everything from work, family, weather - whatever. Plus the joyful and anxiety filled journey of being a Navy Mom!!! Let us support you when you're missing her, lend an ear when you need to vent, and celebrate with you when you want to brag!! I have a daughter who enlisted in 08 and is out now but working as a contractor in the same command she served in. Her twin sister is in her 10th week of Officer Candidate training and my son is serving his 8th year and just reenlisted for 6 more. He is an IS also!! We look forward to learning about you and your sailor!!! Again, Welcome Aboard!!
