A little about me:
I am 49 years old I am disabled. I am terminal. I have type 2 daibetes that is breaking down all my organs on the inside of my body along with other chronic illnesses the dr's gave me 2 years and that was 2 years ago I will pick n choose when I decide to give up and that is not yet!

I have no experience with the navy but my son chose this career because my father was in the navy so I would say loyalty and discipline.

Videos, PDF files of boot camp processing days, links to all the important groups plus tips on how to use this site. Keep in mind the videos and PDF files may take some time to download the first time you try it. It'll look like nothing is happening. Be patient.     It is very hard for me as well.  I am still lucky because he is at A school and has his cell phone.  I can call when I want..LOL...But soon enough he will be deploying and I will be in the same boat as you.  It will be hard, but this has been the best thing for him.  My son is 3rd generation Navy and I remember when I was in, how it was, so it makes it a little easier for me...
