- I am 49 years old I am disabled. I am terminal. I have type 2 daibetes that is breaking down all my organs on the inside of my body along with other chronic illnesses the dr's gave me 2 years and that was 2 years ago I will pick n choose when I decide to give up and that is not yet!

It is very hard for me as well. I am still lucky because he is at A school and has his cell phone. I can call when I want..LOL...But soon enough he will be deploying and I will be in the same boat as you. It will be hard, but this has been the best thing for him. My son is 3rd generation Navy and I remember when I was in, how it was, so it makes it a little easier for me... I hope you are doing well...Have a great day!!
