- My name is Birdie and I have a son that is currently on the USS Abraham Lincoln.
He is an airman with VRC-30 Providers, Det 2.
I can't even express how proud my husband and I are of him. Joining the Navy was one of the best things he's ever done. Aside from marrying the most wonderful girl, of course. He and his bride of 2 1/2 years are expecting their first baby in April, 2011. We're all hoping he'll make it home for the birth. - I am here to support my

Birdie, l4flowers has a son on the Lincoln. She and her husband went on the Tiger Cruise. They live in Campbell (Santa Clara County) now but moving over to the coast. I think she is on the Lincoln group. She is on the San Fran group - that I know.
