- A little about me:
- I'm the mother of a 27 year old daughter and a 19 year old son. My daughter has made me the grand mother of a 3 year old little boy and a 2 month old baby girl. My son is leaving soon for Navy boot camp. I have spent my last (almost 28 years) taking care of my children. I have been a single mom since my daughter was 14 and my son was 6 yrs old. I'm not going to know what to do with myself once my son leaves. I work (part time) for an attorney, whom I am also engaged to be married to. Last, but most important I am Christian that loves the Lord my Savior and I hope I have given my Children a good solid Christian background.

Hi, it took us almost another week to get the form letter after the box. But it all gets better after that. Even when you start writing, they sometimes don't get their letters as quickly as we might expect. I thought they would get them after the 2nd week, but it was after the 3rd week when my daughter finally got some. And she got a pile one day and another pile the next day. She was pretty much in heaven after that. The hardest part is the waiting.

HI! Sorry I was out of town for the weekend.
OUr daughter's address did not change. Only she added the ship name between the ship and div. on the same line. And she added the -xxxx zipcode extension. So we added that too. Our daughter didn't get mail for almost 3 weeks! Now she is getting mail regularly but there are some there who still are not getting much. I don't know why this is. I would love to hear our SR's voice, but the 1 time she called, only her brother was home. At least she got to talk to someone at home though!!
