I wish I had made this quilt, it was hanging in the shop I go to. Made by someone from there. There is a quilt show this weekend at the Sheriff's Posse Building on Hwy 180 west of Weatherford. It costs $5.00 to get in. Put on by the Quilter's Guild of Parker County. My sister-in-law and I will be going on Saturday. I think I will be quilted out by then. We did the Shop Hop the weekend before last, went to a quilt show at Will Roger's last Friday and the show this weekend. I am working on a wavy flag pattern. It was designed by one of the ladies that owns the shop I go to here in Weatherford. I'll bring a copy to PIR. SR's letters have been mostly downers until this past week. He is counting down the days now. I'm so proud of him and all the boys. His division had problems from the beginning but seem to be getting it together finally. He told me he is carrying a flag at PIR. I sent a letter and card today and have seen where they will forward mail so will probably send a few more this week. Is your SR going on to P'cola after PIR? We need to have lunch sometime, maybe on a weekend. I could meet you in Granbury after all the excitement is over.

Tony's Mom, good luck to your SR tonight. It was a long night but I managed to get about 4 hours of sleep. The morning seemed longer. Can't wait for you to feel like I did this afternoon when my phone rang. Are you off work tomorrow? What hotel are you staying at?

Tony's Mom, Be safe out there. I will be packing and double checking everything today. I leave the house at about 6:30 tomorrow. Hope to be at the Navy Lodge by about 2 p.m. Have to make sure I don't forget anything. Like Christmas, make a list, check it twice. Will be watching posts for when your calls start coming in. As excited for you and the other moms waiting as I was for myself yesterday. Have a great day.
