    Hi LeysaNavymom,

Our son graduates May 5 also.  So they get to pick orders this Thursday.  Our son would like to go to Japan, so if he gets a chance and not many pick Japan that is probably his first choice after Italy and Spain.  His first pick was Europe.  He too would like to work with the Marines as an MFM, but he knows there are few spots open and little need now.  Glad to hear the most difficult test is over.  Best wishes to your Sailor.  CDMom

Hi LeysaNavymom,  Wow thanks for the article about Okinawa,  so your son is going there when they are sending thousands out of there.  Caleb is not going there he is going to Iwakuni, Japan it is near Heroshema.  It is a Marine and Airforce clinic he will be working at.  He has to stay an extra week and work at the VA Hospital and comes home also on May 16 so we only get to see him eight days.  He has to report for duty May 25th.

My stomach rolls over like one standing at an extreme height every time I think of him going so far away.  I wish there was another Sailor going too, he is not looking forward to leaving his friends,  He is the only one he knows of that is going to that duty station. Even coming to San Antonio he traveled with other Sailors going the same place.  We just place them in God's hands and know it is all good.  Our boys are growing up.  Blessings Dale
