A little about me:: I have six children of my own and one stepson. My twin sons enlisted in the U.S. Navy and are currently in training in Goose Creek, SC going into nuke control. I am bursting my buttons with pride in them.

I wish I could find the you-tube videos our son made in GC. They were from part of a hurricane, and the sailors using their boogie boards to "surf" out in the volleyball courts. He also had one of the dorms. Right now he is standing duty in his dry-docked submarine in Portsmouth, VA. Praying the storm does not rock and roll too much there.

Yes, there is the "Welcome Home and Thank You to the Troops" sponsored by the Villa Park VFW at Cantigny Park in Wheaton on Sept. 29 from 9AM to 10PM. I would LOVE to have you attend. I could give you all the info on how to participate with Molly's then. It is so much easier to talk than emails back and forth! Pat
