I am supporting my nephew. My brother-in-law died after a long battle with cancer. His Mom is a single Mom working, and no time to compute, asked me to give her as much info as I can. So I read your forum and call her up. She has asked that I represent her. My parents met during WW II in the NAVY. My brother retired from the NAVY. My Husband is a Viet NAm Vet Army. We proudly support our troops

Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
Support your sailor. My brother retired after 20 years was submarine. My Husband ARMY. The most important thing is support, Support, Support.
Our Navy experience so far...
The Navy was not the right path for my loved one/me.
I would like to extend my gratitude to both your husband and you for your service. I understand your reservations regarding his information. I am in Long Island NY and am heading down to Fort Lee for the graduation on Friday. My best guess is some sailors going to duty stations within the US seem to be getting orders relatively quickly after graduation. It also seems based on the information posted that sailors with orders overseas seem to be placed on hold. I can relate to your husbands story as I to was in the Marine Corps and a few of the Marines I served with have stayed in touch for the last 30 years. We have helped each other like a family through many tough times. each one is like family to my 6 children. Unfortunately there are a few sailors in the CS class with Texas drawls. I am originally from Tennessee. Let me know if I can be of service to your sailor when I go down there. Maybe I can at least give him a lift home even if at this point it does not look like I will be able to bring my son home. I aam going to try and spend a day or two with him to at least give him a break from the base.
