Just seen this thread on the OZ,

It is something the boys joke about, our town is a little OZ nuts, so I used the OZ name because of the joking around. This town for years has had an Octoberfest every fall, then after it went OZ crazy the name was change to OZtoberfest!

We have a OZ Museum here too and during the OZ-fest they bring in the Munchkins for a big ta do, the ruby red slippers have been here on loan for viewing in the Museum. We have a hair saloon called  Scizzors of Oz, which for some reason they have change the oz to Ahhz; which was a logo for the State of Kansas....

"Kansas the Land of Ahhzz". The State is trying to make the Terrier breed that Toto was the state dog.

We have an Emerald City Market, an antique store called The Flying Monkey Buisness, Toto's Tacoz, there was a coffee shop called JavOZ but I think it closed and then a winery called, of course, OZ Winery. It is nuts!!! The city last summer was selling yellow bricks that you could buy for $50 and have a name stamped into them, they are paving a sidewalk from a local business to the city park. Yes the Yellow Brick Road!! LOL!!

We too also have a little dog, she is a Chihuahua mix, her dad was all Chihuahua, her mom was Chihuahua , Rat Terrier and Corgi.  Her name is Penny, she is the red in color and shows no sign of the corgi breed. shes just is a little bigger that most, but our cats are still larger than her.

Hi alismz, I have a daughter in the 097 and have been keeping track of things as often as I can.  Most of the 097 news seems to have moved to the facebook page so I was hoping to get hooked up to that.  I'm just not navigating this site as well as I'd hoped;)
