I see you joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!! We are a close, friendly, supportive group of Moms and look forward to getting to know you and your sailor. I see you are new to N4Ms and your daughter is in boot camp now? Please feel free to jump in and join our chats. You can ask any questions you may have, talk freely about your feelings, fears or concerns, or just chat about life. We are all in different phases of our daughters Naval careers and we are always there for each other!!! I noticed your little picture logo - is your daughter going to be an Aviation Ordnanceman? My son was and AO when he was in his first four years!! Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!!
Thank you for asking about my son. I wish I could tell you I knew how he's doing. We haven't heard from him for two weeks...which I've heard is quite common in RCU. We've handed out his address to lots of people and my husband just told us his former coach got a letter yesterday. I'll have to find the guy and grill him on the contents. :) We've also been told that kids in RCU gat to call every other Sunday, so we are hoping for a call this weekend. The lack of communication is hard; the 9/28 date so quickly approaching us is hard; and I was really looking forward to meeting you...and a few other moms.
My son came home from PCola for 10 DAYS. He has been assigned to a sduadron in VB.his squadron left three days before he arrived in VB. He say he is bored out of his mind.he leaves to join squadron on 11-20.they will be blowing bombs.makes me nervous.
