A little about me:
I am a 44 year old mother of 3 boys. My oldest is getting ready to graduate boot camp on June 1, 2012 for the Navy. My middle will be signing up for the Marines in 2 years ...the youngest I'm not sure he was placed for adoption 11 years ago, long painful story that I might feel comfortable sharing sometime privately if needed. I love my children and I respect their choice to serve their country, but to be frank I hate war I hate the idea of war ..But I have read in the bible that weather we agree or disagree that we are to pray for, respect and stand behind our leaders so this is what I aim to do. I sometimes fall short...But I believe in my sons and their choices and I believe that we are to stand in the gap between what is and what should be....Hopefully my honesty hasnt offended anyone. And to get even more honest, before my son went into the military I couldnt even tell you why we are where we are as far as the war(s) because I dont believe anything that the higher ups tell us so rather than focus on the lies I pray, meditate and send all my posative energy and love out towards our soldiers and I hope that our leaders make the best choises they can given what they have to work with.....

well I dont have any experience at all with the Navy but my first thought (and looking at my boys and what branch each of them has chosen) that the Navy is where the brains are and that it is the safest branch. I might be totally shocked when I get more involved. I am going to learn all that I can, and I am going to be the best Navy mom that I can be.
