I heard from my son again today, he says he'll be home Thursday. So timeline wise:
Left for Bootcamp on the 10th, got box the 13th, then 15 minutes later the call he was in ship 5. Home - presumeably Thursday the 20th.
I am so sorry you have to go through this, and sorry for your son too!!! I wish there was something I could say to make it better!!! KNow I genuinely care.

My son got home yesterday. He was so happy to be home, but sure was bittersweet. NOW what do we do??? The end of one dream - The thing that upsets me so much is how many ways they screwed with that boy!!! They didnt give him the rank he signed up for so when he left, he OWED the Navy!!!!!!! He actually came home with a BILL for over $200!!!! I am choosing to focus on the positive, but its bad enough the stuff they put them through, then to kick them when they are down..... Prayers for you Sheila. Please Do let me know if you hear today ok??
