A little about me:: Hi, My grandson is in "boot camp"At great Lakes Naval Station in Chicago. . Mydaughter told me about this site and i want to thank all you navy Moms for being so supportive to each other and to her.

Anyway, I am a knitter and read the blog about knitting the blankets., I joined the nanvy for Moms to participate in the knitting group.
My grandson graduates march 12, 2010. I cannot wait to see him.

Yes I am going for graduation. My grandson said he wanted me there. Daughter made all the arrangements and told me from the day he left that I was going.My grandson has always been very close to me. He actually bonded to me when he was a baby. My husband had died and he was born on our first would have been anniversary after he died. on Nov 11th also veterans day. God just gave me a buddle of joy and I am so looking forward to seeing him as he graduates. Did get to talk to him twice on phone, inclusing last night. . I love and miss him so much. I am proud of him.
