I am sitting here on the evening before my daughter leaves for boot camp with mixed emotions. I am so very proud of her but also sad. She has left home before to go to college but that was only 90 minutes away and did not feel like she was going halfway across the country. Can't just hop in the car for a short car ride to go see her anymore.

Since you have an SR at the RTC, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted."
I see you have joined your PIR group; I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. You may want to check out Mom’s of Navy Daughters, Mom's of Daughters 2, and Women in the Navy.Take care and blessings to you and yours.
