Hello Jensensmon-Lesli! It's nice to connect with you and hope we can meet up in HI. It's good to finally have some information, though I have not yet received the official invitation with other details yet. I see that you're in OR! My son is located in WA. I'm jealous...you're so much closer to him, his wife, and daughter than we are here in the Atlanta, GA area. We've been up three times now since they relocated there in Aug 2008. The most recent was Dec 2010 to see our new granddaughter. Born in Oct., she just turned 9 months and he's been gone 8 of the months first when they went out (3 days after she was born) for some workups and then the 7 months on the cruise. He is SOOO looking forward to getting home. How far is Beaverton from Seattle?

I got your note about you reading that my husband thought I was too into this Navy thing, LOL....ya, he thinks that I am on Navy for Moms and the Uss Omsbudsman site too much. But I like to know whats going on when I am not in contact with my son, I figure that after this first deployment I will be less "excited" about it all....

Hi I talked to my daughter and she wants to know what department she is in. Maybe they can meet maybe even become friends. My daughter is in the engineering dept. She has been in just a year now.
