You will also want to join Sub Moms and check out Naval Submarine Base New London Facebook Page. Your then Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones)to help you know how to plan your weekend.

Welcome to Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) for information on what to expect and to help you prepare for PIR. What is your SR's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There may be additional groups and/or information I can direct you to. Take care and blessings to you and yours.

My son graduated in September, I remember the most exciting time was during the pass in review (PIR) ceremony, when the "garage door" opens up.  The crowd goes WILD!

If you have any questions, I'd love to help.  I'm a Navy veteran myself.

Please like my group on facebook LINK, I'm just starting out and would love the support.

I also support “calls for recruits” from products sold on ETSY if you order soon I ship next day!

If you are traveling, wishing you a safe journey.

If you can't travel; be sure to watch the video link, it's the next best thing.
