A little about me:: My son is 18. His shipdate for boot camp was June 29th and graduated on August 27th. He is my oldest of 4 children. I have a daughter Rachel-16, Step son Kane-15, and Step daughter Courtney-13 and have been happily married to my second husband Donnie for 11 years. I live in a small town called Cleveland, Alabama which is just a few miles north of Birmingham.

oorah= Marine chant! I think some of those who work with Marines use that chant, and obviously the seabees are part of that! The Marines and sailors train together in some rates. I know at my son's A School, there were Marines training there.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the info for the county papers. My son kept me pretty much out of everything when it comes to his Navy stuff....and I haven't run across that info on the boards. Sorry! So glad that Zac is loving it!
